Artist Bio

Madina Noristany, UK Abstract Artist.

As a UK-based contemporary artist, my work is rooted in the emotional spaces we often overlook — the quiet places where stillness meets movement, and memory blurs into presence. I’m drawn to subtle shifts in texture, tone, and rhythm — how softness can hold strength, and how restraint can speak just as powerfully as expression.

My practice blends abstract expressionism with hints of modern figuration, using layered materials, earthy palettes, and sculptural brushwork to evoke reflection, resilience, and calm. Each piece is a meditative process — a way of working through feeling rather than illustrating it, allowing the work to emerge gradually through intuition and quiet attention.

Much of my inspiration comes from personal heritage and cultural memory, as well as the natural forms and textures that surround us. I’m fascinated by what we carry — stories, symbols, fragments — and how they can be expressed not through literal imagery, but through atmosphere, form, and presence.

Over time, I’ve shared this journey with a growing online community, connecting with others who find meaning in the quieter side of emotion. My hope is to create work that invites stillness and introspection — pieces that live gently in a space, while continuing to reveal something new over time.
